The Jack and Sally dolls I made for a christmas gift. I can post them in full now that I've given them. They're from a kit that came with all the supplies to make them, and a book with patterns. I may make the other characters at some point, but I kind of want to make a Jack for myself, he was pretty simple. Sally was tricky, idk if I would make another any time soon lol

Jack and Sally - I was able to give these gifts away today so here's the little video I made before I wrapped them. I love how Jack's face came out, idk, it's just super cute 💀They're from a kit that is sold at Joann, and maybe someday I will make them for myself, or make some of the other characters in the book.

I can share this today - the gift I made for @specialkaystudio for Christmas. It is based off of a little figure that she had (last pic) that came from something Monster High related. She mentioned a few months ago that she would like to have it turned into a doll, and I wasn't even sure how serious she was about it, but I decided it was going to be her Christmas gift so I got to work on it. She told me she was obsessed with it, so that made me pretty happy 🙂This is my doll pattern, which borrows some methods from a few other patterns I've purchased and worked on (especially the sweater because I am still a true beginner at knitting) I've never done hair using this method before, and I don't think I'll do it again 1. because it's messy, (it will probably shed forever) and 2. it took forever to put in and comb out. It works for this doll though, because she is a warewolf, so it makes her look wild, and also, I decided to give her emo/scene girl hair because I wasn't sure how I was going to style yarn hair to make it curl like the little figure. But also the partially crimped fluffy look is how that hair is supposed to be.Overall, I'm happy with it. There are things I would fix about it, but the important part is that she liked it. I do not enjoy embroidery as much as the rest of the process. Making Sally really killed any joy I had for that part of it lol

I went back to one of my old artworks, the Bone Collector lady, and added some animation using @procreate dreams!
I was initially excited to play with the app and make some traditional types of animations, but it’s so easy to use for adding a bit more interest to the type of work I normally do as well, I’m excited to find more ways I can use it.

As I readied myself for bed one night, I heard a sound I didn't recognize. My cat slept soundly on the foot of the bed, but it came from nearby. When I looked below her resting place, I saw it: a tiny alien playing in the clean folded sheets stored in the ottoman."Hello!" I said, but it didn't seem to hear me. I wasn’t sure if it could, it had no ears. It simply went about its business and ignored me.I followed it into the kitchen, where seemed to instinctively know the food was kept. When it came across the tub of cat food on the shelf, it stopped, taking what seemed like very long sniffs."Are you hungry?" I still couldn't tell if it could hear me, but it turned and looked at me then, even though it had no eyes. I took that as a yes, and got it some cat food that it happily ate somehow, despite the fact it had no mouth.Afterward, I patted it on the head and gave it a scarf for the cold, and sent it on its way, warm and with a full belly.I never saw my alien friend after that, but I like to think it found someone else to be nice to it as well. Being in a place you're not familiar with can be hard, and a small bit of kindness makes all the difference.☆☆☆This is a WIP, but I thought it looked like an alien at this point in the process lol. It's a gift, so I'll be posting the finished doll closer to Christmas once I give it. (Its not actually an alien lol)
